Hey!

On Thursday we walked the whole boulevard de la Croisette to go for a little shopping. That street is really, really long. I’m sure if you come to Cannes you will find many shops that your heart desires. I find the shopping street in Cannes much cooler than the Zeil in Frankfurt (Germany) if you are familiar with the shopping streets here. I swear that day we walked so much that our legs even hurt! Haha! I really have to start with sport – honestly!

We also wanted to go to the beach there but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t our friend on that day.

Now to my personal style / outfit: I wore a light pink silk top that had lace fabric details paired with blue jeans shorts and my new flat army green mules sandals.

Hey!

Am Donnerstag sind wir den ganzen Boulevard de la Croisette gelaufen um zu Shoppen. Diese Straße ist wirklich lang. Ich bin mir sicher, wenn ihr mal nach Cannes kommt, werdet ihr sicherlich auch euren Lieblingsladen finden. Ich finde die Einkaufsstraße dort viel cooler als die Zeil in Frankfurt, falls ihr sie kennt.

Wir sind an diesem Tag so viel gelaufen, dass unsere Beine richtig weh getan haben! Hahah! Ich muss wirklich mit dem Sport anfangen – ehrlich!

Wir wollten eigentlich nochmal an den Strand gehen, aber leider hat das Wetter nicht wirklich mitgespielt. 

Jetzt zu meinem Outfit: Ich hatte ein rosa farbenes Spitzen – Satintop mit Jeans Shorts und meine neuen flachen grüne Sandalen an.

Hey!!

Oh noo it’s already friday and our vacation is almost over!

On Wednesday our day started with visiting the market that is located near to us. We bought different types of marinated olives, a melon and tomato spread for our baguette. That was our breakfast for the day. Did you know that we almost had muesli everyday as breakfast?

We knew that we wanted to explore St.Tropez because it’s only 1,5 hours away from Cannes.

We didn’t know that the trip to Saint Tropez would be such an adventure. Because the road was quite curvy and looks dangerous but I found it exciting! We even saw wild pigs with their babies on our way back home – so cute!

In Saint Tropez we didn’t do much, we ate ice-cream and went shopping.

Hey!!

Oh nein, es ist schon Freitag und unser Urlaub ist fast vorbei!

Am Mittwoch haben wir einen lokalen Markt besucht. Wir haben verschiedene marinierte Oliven, eine Melone und Tomatenaufstrich für unser Baguette gekauft. Das war unser Frühstück für den Tag. Wusstet ihr, dass wir beinahe täglich Müsli zum Frühstück hatten?

Auf dem Weg zurück haben wir sogar Wildschweine mit ihren Babys gesehen – sehr süß! 

Dort haben wir nicht viel gemacht, wir haben Eis gegessen und waren ein bisschen shoppen.

We slept a bit too long yesterday. But you have to bear with us because we drove 11 hours to Monaco/Cannes. We explored Cannes the whole day. We we’re mostly on the Boulevard de la Croisette. And visited the church that is named Eglise Notre Dame d’Esperance where we had an awesome view of the city. In the evening or night we went to a little restaurant (la Farigoule) which had awesome food for a good price compared to the other restaurants over here.

Leider haben wir gestern etwas zu lang geschlafen. Wir sind 11 Stunden nach Monaco/Cannes gefahren, dann kann man das ja noch verzeihen. Wir haben den ganzen Tag Cannes erkundigt und sind meistens auf dem Boulevard de la Croisette geblieben. Danach besuchten wir eine Kirche, die Eglise Notre Dame d’Esperance heißt. Von dort hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt. Abends sind wir in ein kleines Restaurant (la Farigoule) gegangen, das super Essen für einen guten Preis hatte, verglichen mit den anderen Restaurants hier.

Hey y’all!!

Some of you know that we are on vacation for a week.
Yesterday we drove to Monaco to see if we can watch the Grand Prix. When we arrived there it took us almost an hour until we found a parking spot. The city was really crowded! After that we walked around the city and heard the loud sounds of the formula one cars.

Although we didn’t see much of the drivers it was a cool experience to be live at the event.

Einige von euch wissen ja schon, dass wir für eine Woche im Urlaub sind.
Gestern sind wir nach Monaco gefahren, um möglichst viel vom Grand Prix sehen zu können. Wir brauchten fast eine Stunde, bis wir einen Parkplatz gefunden hatten, weil die Stadt wirklich überfüllt war! Danach sind wir in der Stadt rumgelaufen und die lauten Geräusche der Formel 1 Autos waren kaum zu überhören.

Obwohl wir nicht viel von den Fahrern gesehen haben, war es einfach cool bei der Veranstaltung hautnah dabei zu sein.
